So many students are genuinely curious about STEM, health sciences, and leadership , but the on-ramps are rarely designed for them. Programs are too competitive, too expensive, or too far away. Health topics that affect youth every day get skipped over in classrooms. And the chance to actually lead something feels like it's reserved for adults.
“I kept meeting students who cared deeply about science, health, and their communities, but didn't have a space to put that energy into action.”
When Eileen was crowned Miss Teen Simi Valley 2025, she didn't want her platform to be ceremonial. She wanted it to build something. STEMORA is what she built: a youth-led space where students can learn, lead, and advocate for the issues that shape their lives, from skin health and dietary inclusion to women in STEM and health equity.
Today, STEMORA runs accessible workshops, an annual flagship summit (Health in Her Hands), and a growing ambassador program, all designed and delivered by students. The mission is simple: turn awareness into action, and ideas into impact.
